​Pacific Polymer Federation (PPF) - Prof Hu Xiao (President) and Asst Prof Dalton Tay (Secretary-Treasurer)

​We are very pleased to announce that Professor Hu Xiao and Assistant Professor Dalton Tay have been elected as the new President and Secretary-Treasurer of the Pacific Polymer Federation (PPF) respectively. The election was held in a recent meeting with the council members.
 
About the Pacific Polymer Federation (PPF)
The PPF was created 30 years ago as an active organization to advance and benefit polymer science and technology on a global scale. The primary objective is to encourage and facilitate interaction between polymer research organizations in the Pacific Rim with participants leveraging on the various platforms for the exchange of scientific knowledge. The platforms include national polymer meetings and visits of polymer scientists among countries in the Pacific region.
 
Among other activities, the PPF organizes the biennial Pacific Polymer Conference, which is one of the leading international polymer conferences in the world. Past conferences have been held in member countries/regions, including USA, Japan, China, Korea, Australia, Taiwan and Thailand. For the next installation in December 2019, Singapore will be the host country which marks the first time we are organizing this conference.
