​Health and Safety Performance Award 2019 (MSE – Bronze Award)

​We are proud to announce that MSE has clinched the Bronze Award this year, under the Health and Safety Performance Award 2019. MSE has emerged as one of the Bronze winners amongst the 18 schools and centres. This award recognizes the efforts put in by the School in driving workplace safety and making NTU a safer place.
 
About the award
This award was organized by the Office of Health, Safety & Emergency in July 2019.
A total of 18 Schools or Centres which were categorized in the Sharp Category 2 Group were invited for participation.  
 
The winners were selected based on the following assessment criteria:

  • Senior Management’s commitment to health and safety
  • Internal safety events promotion
  • Health and Safety engagement with staff
  • Implementation of activities stipulated in the safety calendar
  • Effective communication of health and safety information to the community
  • Contractor management
  • Feedback process on health and safety related procedures prior to its implementation for staff
  • Periodic review of health and safety performance
  • Collaboration with external organization or government agencies on safety and health related events
  • Fair and just discipline system is in place in term of safety for all staff and students
