​BBC Inside Science – Assistant Professor Terry Steele

​We are pleased to share that Asst Prof Terry Steele has been interviewed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on his research work. During the interview, Prof Steele shared about his research on on-demand, event-activated soft tissue bioadhesives – Voltaglue, which is a flexible adhesive capable of working in wet environments, including organic and hydrophobic solvents, by introducing an electrical current. With such a breakthrough, the fields of surgery, biosensors and electronics can be revolutionized. Moving forward, Prof Steele’s new design employs flexible graphene electrodes which allow the glue to work on any surface – even non-conducting ones.
