Award of A*STAR AME Programmatic Grant - Associate Professor Raju V. Ramanujan and Assistant Professor Martial Duchamp
We are pleased to share that Associate Professor Raju V. Ramanujan has been awarded the RIE2020 Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) Programmatic Grant – Structural Metal Alloys Programme (SMAP). Associate Professor Ramanujan is the Principal Investigator (PI) along with Assistant Professor Martial Duchamp (co-PI). The project is entitled ‘Study of length scale effects and interfaces on mechanical properties’.
This project aims to model alloy properties of industrial interest over a range of length scales (multiscale modeling) and compare the predictions from modeling to experimental results. A fundamental understanding of plasticity mechanisms by experimental techniques and multiscale modeling will be gained through this endeavour.
