​Award of A*STAR AME Programmatic Grant - Associate Professor Raju V. Ramanujan

​We are pleased to share that Associate Professor Raju V. Ramanujan has been awarded the RIE2020 Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) Programmatic Grant along with his counterparts from A*STAR and NUS. Under Work Package 5 in the project, entitled ‘Accelerated Materials Development for Manufacturing’, Associate Professor Ramanujan will synthesize and characterize high-strength lightweight metals and soft magnetic materials for industrial applications.
 
About the grant
Programmatic initiatives aim for future industry readiness and support the development of new and emerging capabilities for adoption in industry. Aimed at developing capabilities relevant to existing industrial sectors or seed new growth sectors through building scientific peaks of excellence, the AME Programmatic Grants are typically driven by a multidisciplinary team comprising public sector research performers from across the local research ecosystem.
