​A*STAR AME Individual Research Grant (IRG) - Prof Gan Chee Lip and Asst Prof Terry Steele

​We are pleased to share that Professor Gan Chee Lip and Assistant Professor Terry Steele have been awarded the A*STAR RIE2020 ADVANCED MANUFACTURING AND ENGINEERING (AME) INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH GRANT (IRG) for the following projects:  

  • Prof Gan Chee Lip: 3D Printing of Transparent Ceramics by Stereolithography Method Assisted with Hot Isostatic Press Process
  • Asst Prof Terry Steele: Microprocessor-based Methods of Composite Curing
     

About the grant
Under the Research, Innovation and Enterprise (RIE) 2020, the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (AME) domain aims to develop and strengthen technological capabilities to support continued growth and competitiveness of Singapore’s manufacturing and engineering sectors, so as to achieve GDP growth, create good jobs and position the economy for the future. The AME Individual Research Grants (IRG) aim to develop novel and fresh R&D ideas that are in line with the AME strategies and goals, and solicited through an investigator-led, ground-up mechanism across the research ecosystem.
