Sharing the point of view of a Singapore-based carbon exchange, AirCarbon Exchange

Mr McMahon is an exchange architect with over 35 years’ experience in the Futures industry, working broadly across Asia, the Middle East, North America, and Continental Europe, building exchanges under US and Asian Exchange and Regulatory frameworks. His experience includes building and running NYMEX Asia, the Hong Kong Mercantile Exchange, DME and SMX/ ICE Singapore.

Mr. McMahon was also part of the West Texas Intermediate Petroleum Advisory Board as well as the Chairman at Natural Gas Advisory. In the recent decades, his strategic developments also included collaborating with Enterprise Singapore on the establishment of a GST free LBMA compliant Gold physical

delivery mechanism for Singapore. He was also the Ring Chairman; and the early adopter of BitGold, the

platform for purchase and payments based on physical gold holdings.
