Speaker: Dr Loh Pek Ru, Lecturer, Psychology and Child & Human Development, NIE NTU

Dr Loh Pek Ru is a Lecturer with the department of Psychology and Child & Human Development, NIE NTU. She has a PhD in Applied Psychology and currently

teaches pre-service, in-service and postgraduate courses in Special Needs. She is the program leader for Diploma in Special Needs Education program and Advance Diploma in Special Needs Education program. Before joining academia, Dr Loh was a practicing psychologist in Australia and Singapore, working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health issues. Her research interests include assessment and measurement, mental health in special needs and special needs education.
