Bachelor of Computing (Hons) in Computer Science with a Second Major in Entrepreneurship

Single Degree with 2nd Major

An integrated program combining a Computer Science major with a Second Major in Entrepreneurship offers a powerful blend of technical expertise and business acumen. At Nanyang Technological University (NTU), this is offered by the College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS) for the Computer Science major, and the Second Major in Entrepreneurship (SMiE) is offered by the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur). This collaboration equips graduates with the skills to innovate, create their own tech ventures, or lead product development in established companies.
This programme lies in its powerful fusion of rigorous technical training with an intensive, hands-on entrepreneurial education. This integrated program goes beyond theoretical business studies by emphasising practical, technopreneurial experience directly integrated into the curriculum, including team-based projects, real-life simulations, and a compulsory 20-week professional internship with startups or other entrepreneurial ventures. This approach ensures that graduates are not only proficient in building technology but are also skilled in identifying market needs, commercialising innovative ideas, and navigating the complexities of venture creation. By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset alongside strong computing foundations, the program produces versatile graduates who are equipped to thrive as founders, product managers, or innovation leaders in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

Applicants must meet NTU’s undergraduate admissions criteria, which include:
