Two NTU Programmes Endorsed Under National SkillsFuture Green Workplace Initiative
Nanyang Business School's (NBS) Nanyang Executive Education (NEE) has been recognised as part of a national initiative to build Singapore's green workforce capabilities.
On 3 July 2026, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development Indranee Rajah officially launched the SkillsFuture Green Workplace (SFGW) programme at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) Annual Dinner 2026, marking a national effort to equip professionals with the skills needed to support Singapore's sustainability agenda.
Two NEE programmes have been endorsed by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and approved by the Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) under the SFGW Sustainability Reporting (SFGW-SR) track:
- SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) Advanced Professional Certificate in Sustainability Reporting and AI Analytics
- FlexiMasters in Sustainability Business Ecosystems (FM SBE), comprising five ACRA-endorsed courses
NTU is the only university among the four training providers endorsed under this initiative. Both programmes have secured Tier 1 Funding, the highest level of course fee support available, reflecting the strength of their alignment with national priorities. NEE's FlexiMasters in Sustainability Business Ecosystems also offers a stackable pathway into the Executive MSc in Sustainability Management, currently the only credit-bearing pathway among all approved SFGW-SR programmes.
A Collective Journey
The endorsement reflects years of collaboration between NBS faculty and NEE staff. The journey began in 2024, when Goh Kia Hong, Assistant Dean (Undergraduate), College of Business (NBS), served on a stakeholder validation panel for the Sustainability Reporting Body of Knowledge (SR-BOK). Dean Jun Yang later supported ACRA during the SR-BOK's launch, while faculty across the school contributed curriculum expertise as NEE prepared its course submissions for ACRA's review.
ACRA's endorsement validates that both programmes are aligned with the SR-BOK in terms of learning outcomes, training duration, and assessment methodology.
This recognition reinforces NBS's role in advancing Singapore's sustainability agenda and demonstrates the School's continued commitment to developing executive education with national skills priorities.
