Three Nanyang Business School faculty, Professor Sam Park, Associate Professor Marilyn Ang Uy and Dr Catherine Peyrols Wu, have been recognised for their outstanding research and presentation. Congratulations!
Professor Sam Park was awarded the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) Silver Medal at the 2019 Annual Conference of Academy of International Business in Copenhagen.
The award represents a formal recognition of Prof Park’s intellectual contributions published in the journal. More specifically, the Silver Medal has been awarded to a small number of International Business scholars who have published at least five significant papers in JIBS during the first 50 years of its existence.
Associate Professor Marilyn Ang Uy’s paper, “Is it better to give or receive? The role of help in buffering the depleting effects of surface acting” has received an Honourable Mention in the 2019 Award for Outstanding Published Article in Positive Organisational Scholarship.
“The Award recognises research that inspires and enables leaders to build high-performing organisations. I feel deeply grateful to have received an honourable mention,” shares Assoc Prof Marilyn Ang Uy.
Dr Catherine Peyrols Wu received the Best Presentation Award at the ICAP 2019: International Conference on Applied Psychology held in France on 25-26 June 2019.
