NBS faculty awarded Future Health Technologies grant

Assoc Prof Hannah Lim was awarded a grant of $488,508 as a Principal Investigator (PI) of the Future Health Programme at the Singapore-ETH Centre.

Future Health Technologies (FHT) develops mobile health technology concepts, leveraging scalable digital technologies to transform the healthcare system towards a community-based and patient-centric model along the continuum of care. The FHT is the third programme of the Singapore-ETH Centre, which was established by ETH Zurich and Singapore's National Research Foundation (NRF), as part of NRF’s CREATE Campus.

Assoc Prof Lim, the PI in Module 4 of FHT on ‘Health Data Governance and Value Creation’ explained, “As the other modules of the FHT programme develops new mobile digital health technologies, Module 4 will develop a trustworthy data governance framework and toolkit appropriate to the legal and regulatory framework of the Singaporean and Swiss ecosystems.”

“Module 4 aims to develop structures, models and frameworks that protects data privacy, data ownership and accountability, while enabling analytics across a variety of health data within the FHT health data microcosm,” she added.
