Congratulations to Our Nanyang Alumni Awards Winners 2020 and 2021!

Working in different parts of the world, from all walks of life, and across various industries, our NBS alumni honour the School with their achievements and dedication to serve

Launched in 2005, the annual Nanyang Alumni Awards are presented to Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore alumni who have attained exemplary achievements in their field of specialisation or have contributed significantly to the betterment of the University, the community, or society. Awards are presented in four categories – the Nanyang Distinguished Alumni Award, the Nanyang Alumni Achievement Award, the Nanyang Outstanding Young Alumni Award, and the Nanyang Alumni Service Award.

Postponed last year due to restrictions on large-scale events arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Nanyang Alumni Awards ceremony was held at the Nanyang auditorium on 23 October 2021. This year’s ceremony lauded winners from both 2020 and 2021. A total of 71 NTU Singapore alumni were honoured for their outstanding achievements and contributions.

Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education, presented the awards, commending winners for their sustained contributions in paying it forward. Said Minister Chan: “You define your success not just by how well you do, but how well you enable the next generation to do even better. This is the kind of spirit that will allow great institutions and countries to continue to flourish – each, and every generation works towards the common goal of leaving behind an even stronger and better foundation for the next generation to scale new heights.”
