Congratulations to our NBS Awards 2021 Winners!

To recognise faculty and staff who demonstrated excellence and made outstanding contributions in the areas of research, teaching, and service, Nanyang Business School (NBS) held the NBS Awards 2021 on 4 January. The ceremony was graced by members of the NBS Deanery: NBS Dean Prof Christina Soh; NBS Deputy Dean Prof Boh Wai Fong; Associate Dean (Faculty) Prof Gillian Yeo; Associate Dean (Undergraduate Student Life)​ Assoc Prof Lim-Lum Kit-Wye.

Recipients of the NBS Awards

Dean Prof Soh opened the ceremony expressing her delight in attending a physical event and how heartwarming it was to see everyone in person. She conveyed the significance of teaching faculty members, who are at the forefront of educating future generations and who play an integral role in preparing students who will go on to innovate, lead, and transform in the future economy. She concluded her speech with her appreciation for the management and support staff, for their equally important roles in maintaining NBS’s standing among the world’s premier business schools.

Dean Prof Soh subsequently presented the trophies and certificates for the Teaching Excellence Award, Teacher of the Year Award, Teacher of the Year Nominees, Research Excellence Award, and Service Excellence Award.

Teaching Excellence Award (TEA)

The TEA considers both Undergraduate and Graduate teaching based on their curriculum leadership, innovation, and the incorporation of NBS Assurance of Learning Practices in courses.
