The NBS Awards recognise faculty and staff who demonstrate excellence and outstanding contributions in three key areas: research, teaching and service.
Research Excellence Awards (REAs)
The REAs consider research productivity, quality, and the impact of a faculty member’s publications over the previous three-year period.

The TEAs consider both Undergraduate and Graduate teaching. In addition to student ratings, key evaluation criteria include: curriculum leadership, innovation, and the incorporation of NBS Assurance of Learning practices in their courses.
