ADM Alumna Bags Two Awards at Singapore Book Awards 2026

From a spark of inspiration to international recognition! School of Art, Design and Media alumna Claire Low’s debut graphic novel, “Tiger Girls”, has won two honours at the Singapore Book Awards 2026 for Best Graphic Novel and Best Marketing Campaign.

Illustrated by Claire, the graphic novel has also been recognised on The White Ravens, a prestigious annual list of international children’s and young adult literature, marking global recognition for a Singapore-made story.

While she had always been an avid reader of comics, it was only at ADM that Claire decided to pursue her interest in the medium more seriously: “Tiger Girls was the first comic I drew outside of school, and the things I learnt at NTU came in really useful when I was working on it.”

The international edition of “Tiger Girls” will be released worldwide later this year and is also available in Danish. Congratulations, Claire!
