ADM alumna Samantha Suyi Lee has been named one of Variety’s 10 Animators to Watch: Class of 2026!

A storyboard artist on Sony Pictures Animation’s Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Samantha also takes on custom animation directing for the highly anticipated film. Her work follows an Emmy-winning run on Disney’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, where she directed 11 episodes and won the Children’s & Family Emmy for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Series.

Variety highlights Samantha’s distinctive approach to storyboarding, where character acting and emotional interiority are just as important as camera angles and action.
