Our ADM alumna Ng Si Ying (Class of 2016, Visual Communication) was featured on an article from PLURAL. In the interview, she walked us through how she started her artistic journey with rattan and to meet her two masters from Chun Mee Lee Rattan Furniture.

Si Ying experimented and explored the materiality of rattan through her research project – 100 Rattans: Rattan as Wrap. She eventually came up with 100 different ways to use the traditional material as wrap. Her crafts can be viewed on her Instagram account @/atinymaker
