Congratulations to Nicole Midori Woodford on receiving the National Youth Film Awards (NYFA) Youth Inspiration Award!

The Lecturer at NTU School of Art, Design and Media devotes time to nurturing young filmmakers, and converted from part-time to full-time lecturer at her school in 2018, while working on her film projects. Nicole was also the Faculty Supervisor who mentored the team of students who worked on Shoki Lin's ADAM, which went on to be featured at La Cinéfondation this year, a foundation backed by the Cannes Film Festival.

This NYFA Youth Inspiration Award was introduced to recognise and honour young industry professionals who have made exemplary contributions towards shaping a distinct, vibrant filmmaking industry in Singapore. Through this award, *SCAPE hopes to encourage young filmmakers to continue their artistic pursuits and affirm their commitment to mentoring the next generation.
