WKWSCI FlexiMasters
FlexiMasters aims to provide adult learners with a flexible pathway to upskill, reskill, boost their employability, or pursue intellectual enrichment through a selected range of courses that can be stacked towards a full Master's programme.
The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) currently offers three FlexiMasters programmes, namely, the FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics, the FlexiMasters in Library Leadership and Management, as well as the newly launched FlexiMasters in Media and Communication, as part of its Continuing Education and Training (CET) efforts.
The FlexiMasters in Library Leadership and Management has been curated to provide participants with a firm foundation in library work at the managerial and leadership level. This will be achieved by courses on information discovery, collection development, organisation of information, as well as management and leadership principles.
Upon completion of the course, participants who meet the minimum requirements will be able to pursue MSc in Information Studies for lifelong professional upskilling.

The FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics equips participants with the knowledge needed to thrive in information-intensive workplaces. This is achieved through a set of courses that focuses on key aspects of acquiring, managing, analyzing and interpreting information assets relevant to an organization.
Upon completion of the courses, Modular credits earned in this FlexiMasters programme can be stacked and counted towards the following Master’s degrees offered by the School: Master of Science in Information Systems, Master of Science in Information Studies, and Master of Science in Knowledge Management.

Note:
- Each course in the FlexiMasters programme is assigned an academic unit (AU) number, which indicates the amount of learning undertaken and the depth of learning involved. Assessments will be conducted in each course, and participants will be graded based on their performance in the assessments. Each completed course is stackable to the relevant FlexiMasters Certificate.
- The FlexiMasters Certificate will only be awarded to participants attaining 15 AUs with each course having a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (which is equivalent to a letter grade of C+) and above.
- Participants attaining 9AUs with each course having a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and above will be eligible for a Graduate Certificate.
