FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics


The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) offers the FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics as part of its Continuing Education and Training (CET) efforts. Modular credits earned in this FlexiMasters programme can be stacked and counted towards the following Master’s degrees offered by the School: Master of Science in Information Systems, Master of Science in Information Studies, and Master of Science in Knowledge Management.

Drawing upon two decades of experience in delivering Master’s degrees in the fields of information science, information systems, and knowledge management, the FlexiMasters in Information Management and Analytics offers an industry-relevant curriculum taught by renowned and expert instructors. This FlexiMasters offers an innovative perspective in understanding and analysing data. Apart from training in analytics, the programme teaches you about systems for managing knowledge, and imparts skills on searching, assessing, and visualising data. The programme is catered for working adults who have to make sense of large amounts of data as part of their job scope.

Note:

  • Each course in the FlexiMasters is assigned an academic unit (AU) number, which indicates the amount of learning undertaken and the depth of learning involved. Assessments will be conducted in each course, and participants will be graded based on their performance in the assessments.
  • The FlexiMasters Certificate will only be awarded to participants attaining 15 AUs with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (which is equivalent to a letter grade of C+) and above​.
  • Participants attaining 9AUs with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and above will be eligible for a Graduate Certificate.
