Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

Often dubbed the ‘Olympics of Creativity’, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the world's largest gathering of the creative marketing community. Held annually in Cannes, France, the festival brings together leaders in creative communication, global brands and renowned personalities to explore the ideas shaping the future of the industry.

As part of WKWSCI's Master of Media and Communication programme, students attend the festival to gain first-hand exposure to award-winning campaigns, emerging trends and perspectives from global industry leaders. Beyond keynote sessions and brand activations, they connect classroom learning with real-world industry practice.

The experience extends beyond the festival itself. Through guest lectures, research projects and reflective learning, students deepen their understanding of contemporary advertising and communication while developing insights that support their professional growth.
