Director's Message

Prof Ang

Dear Students, Colleagues, and Alumni,

NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) celebrates its 10th Anniversary in 2022. This is a significant milestone for the Programme. It is an opportunity to acknowledge the accomplishments of our community while looking ahead into the future.

Over the past 10 years, we worked hard to make the NTU-USP an interdisciplinary programme of distinction. NTU-USP’s teaching and learning environment emphasizes cultivating ethics and integrity and inculcates students’ sense of community, service, and active participation in Singapore’s society and the broader global community. Students are equipped with distinctive skill sets and knowledge to both meet current market demands while expanding their mind in order to be ever ready for a changing tomorrow.

In the current situation of the pandemic, fluid even as I write, we are planning a series of activities that can be safely conducted in the coming months. My thanks in advance to those who have contributed in making this celebratory event a reality.

To the entire NTU-USP community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, partners, friends, and family – past and present – thank you for being a part of the journey with us. All of you deserve the credit for your dedication to shaping this young Programme into what it is today.

The progress of the Programme has been impactful and rewarding. With your continued support, I am confident that NTU-USP will continue to maintain this enriching trajectory.
