Celebrating Assoc Prof. Setoh’s Outstanding Contribution to Undergraduate Research at NTU
SSS@NTU is proud to share that Assoc Prof. Setoh, Director of the Early Cognition Lab and a valued member of our Psychology faculty, has been recognised with the Special Appreciation Award for her exceptional mentorship and dedication to undergraduate research at NTU.
This prestigious accolade honours faculty members who have guided more than 50 URECA (Undergraduate Research Experience on Campus) students over the years. Prof. Setoh’s unwavering commitment to student development is exemplified by her mentorship of 60 URECA students in the past decade alone—many of whom have gone on to achieve accolades for research excellence.
What makes this recognition particularly meaningful is that Prof. Setoh was the sole award recipient from the NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CoHASS), highlighting her remarkable impact not just within the college but across the entire university.
Assoc Prof. Setoh’s contributions continue to shape the future of developmental psychology and inspire a new generation of researchers. We are truly honoured to celebrate her legacy.
