The NTU School of Social Sciences (SSS) Club proudly presents the NTU Social Science Challenge 2026!
Calling all Pre-University students! Are you passionate about current affairs and driven to make a difference in society? This is your opportunity to showcase your critical thinking, sharpen your research skills, and explore solutions to real-world social issues.
This competition offers a unique platform to experience the diverse disciplines within the social sciences. Participants will attend masterclasses and industry workshops led by NTU SSS professors and industry professionals, gaining valuable insights into the field. You will also have the opportunity to connect with NTU students, faculty, and industry experts, building meaningful networks.

Who Can Participate?
The Challenge is open to all Pre-University students from Junior Colleges (JCs), Polytechnics, IB Schools, and the Millennia Institute.
Registration & Participation Details
- Each team must comprise 5 students
- Each school may register up to 3 teams
- If more than 3 teams are submitted, only the first 3 valid registrations (based on submission time) will be accepted; additional teams will be placed on a waitlist
- Schools are encouraged to coordinate registrations through a teacher or school representative
Rules & Guidelines
- Teams are encouraged to complete the Challenge independently to maximise learning
- Participants should refrain from external assistance or discussing solutions across teams
- Attendance for all official Challenge dates is required
- Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the event
- Any incidents should be reported to the organisers immediately
- Teams withdrawing must inform the organisers promptly
