Introduction
The Teaching and Learning in Higher Education course aims to provide a supportive environment for early-career faculty, within which you can develop your practical skills and understanding of teaching in higher education. This is the first of a three-part series, in which we will explore the current landscape of teaching in higher education and discuss your roles and responsibilities as academics within the context of your own university. We will draw on current literature and different learning perspectives to reflect on issues within your own teaching context.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Reflect on your teaching beliefs and practice using various learning perspectives.
- Identify pertinent issues for teaching in your own disciplines and context.

- Teaching in your discipline
At least 2 years of working experience in one of the following:
1. Teacher Professional Development
2. Educational Leadership
3. Higher Education
4. Continuing Education and Training
5. Other relevant adult education or management
