Introduction

This course is intended to provide participants with an understanding basic theoretical, procedural, and technical aspects of evaluation. The goal is to help participants develop some basic knowledge and skills in the application of evaluation models to various training programmes

Learners must complete the following courses to attain the Graduate Certificate in Professional Training and Development (12 AU):

• MTD903 Instructional Design Models and Practices
• MTD908 Training Methods and Strategies

• MTD909 E-learning Tools for Training (Pre-requisite: completed MTD903)

Upon completion of the fourth course, MTD912 Programme Evaluation Models and Methods, learners will fulfil the AU requirements to attain the FlexiMasters in Professional Training and Development (16 AU).

At least 2 years of working experience in one of the following:

1. Teacher Professional Development

3. Higher Education

4. Continuing Education and Training

5. Other relevant adult education or management
