Introduction
Learning is a process that takes place across multiple locations at once. As different parts of the brain work together to facilitate the complex process of learning at the neural level, the learner’s physiological state and simultaneous interactions with their learning environment work to either hinder or aid the process. As such, the full picture of learning can only emerge when it is painted from multiple perspectives as well as intersections of these diverse perspectives. This course will introduce students to the different perspectives in educational neuroscience, including that of cognition, neuroscience, developmental cognitive neuroscience, educational psychology, educational technology, education theory and other related disciplines.
