SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP)
The Skillsfuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) aims to support the career transition needs of Singaporeans and provide them with the opportunity to upskill, access new or enhanced job opportunities with potential employers. If you are a mid-career individual looking at a career switch, to boost employability and/or to gain industry-relevant experience, the SCTP is for you.
Our SCTP courses, ranging from 3 to 6 months in duration, are specially designed to help learners develop deep skills. These courses utilise industry-focused curricula that reflect current workplace demands and practices. Apart from technical training, you will also receive career advisory and employment facilitation services to assist you in pivoting to new growth roles and accessing new or enhanced job opportunities.
The SCTP is open to all Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents who are looking for training opportunities to transit to a new sector or job role. Both unemployed and employed individuals can participate in SCTP courses, as long as they can fulfil training commitments, including minimum attendance requirements and passing of assessments.
Upon successful completion of a SCTP course, learners will be awarded with an Advanced Professional Certificate.

Career Coaching Sessions
Making
strategic career transition moves effectively to new or growth roles with confidence through our Career Coaching session. This involve uncovering your Values, Interest Personality & Skills, identify resources to develop and execute a career transition
plan with confidence. We will conduct the sessions either in group or one-on-one basis.
Seminars and Close-Up Sessions
You will get relevant insights from industry practitioners on what it takes to thrive and progress in the new or growth roles. This will be done through seminars and close-up sessions with leading industry
practitioners.
Employability Workshops
We aim to achieve increased interest from recruiters and hiring managers for your job search by trying our utmost effort to maximise your competitiveness and marketability. Through employability
workshops, you will also be equipped with the necessary know-how to negotiate job search process, and overcome the challenges faced in the age of social media hiring and to position yourself effectively in the short attention span
of recruiters and hiring manager.
Ongoing Support and Guidance
We will provide you with ongoing support and guidance even after you have graduated from the SkillsFuture Career Transition programme to help you transit successfully in your new career.

1Cat-A SSG Funded Courses - Eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs must attain at least 75% training attendance and passed all associated assessments in order to be eligible to enjoy up
to 70% of the course fee. Learners will have to bear the full courses fee upon failure to meet either one of the requirements.
2Mid-career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) - Singapore Citizens aged 40 and
above must attain at least 75% training attendance and passed all associated assessments in order to be eligible to enjoy subsidies up to 90% of the course fee.
3Additional Funding Support (AFS)- Individuals
must be Singapore Citizens and meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
a) Long-term unemployed individuals (unemployed for six months or more);or
b) Individuals in need of financial assistance – ComCare Short-to-Medium Term Assistance (SMTA) recipients or Workfare Income Supplement (WIS) recipients; or
c) Persons with Disabilities.
SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)
SkillsFuture Credit of $500
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above will received an opening credit of S$500 from January 2016.
One-off SkillsFuture Credit Top-Up
All Singaporeans who are 25 years
or above as at 31 Dec 2020 is eligible for one-time S$500 credit top-up claimable for SkillsFuture Credit-eligible courses. This top-up will expires on 31 Dec 2025.
SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme for Mid-Career Individuals
SkillsFuture Credit top-up of $4,000 can be used to offset out-of-pocket course fees for SkillsFuture Career Transition Programmes

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance
The SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance is a scheme under the SkillsFuture Level-Up Programme which provides greater support for mid-career Singaporeans aged 40 and above to pursue a substantive skills reboot and stay relevant in a changing economy. The scheme is currently available for the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (Full-Time) .
| Who is this for? | Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above Individuals who take time off work to pursue full-time, long-form training which are generally conducted during working hours. |
| How many months of training allowance is an individual eligible for? | A maximum of 24 months of the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance. |
| How much training allowance is an individual eligible for? | Capped at 50% of one’s average income over the latest-available 12 months, with a minimum allowance of $300 and maximum allowance of $3,000 per month. Individuals with income in the latest-available 12-months will qualify for the Training Allowance. |
| What is the attendance requirement? | For full-time SCTP courses, learners would need to attain at least 75% attendance each month to be eligible for the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Training Allowance. |

Alumni Course Credits
All NTU/NIE alumni may utilise their Alumni Course Credits of $1,600 to co-pay the course fees (exclusive of prevailing GST) before any eligible funding is applied. Alumni who wish to check their credit balance can contact [email protected].
