Specialist Certificates (Micro-credentials)
Specialist Certificate courses enable working professionals to update their knowledge through continuing education and training (CET), and upgrade their skills required in key growth sectors to keep pace with the fast-changing economy.
The courses under the two current Specialist Certificates, namely i) Specialist Certificate in Civil Infrastructure; and ii) Specialist Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Essentials for Aerospace Engineers, are only open to the respective NTU graduates from Environmental Engineering and Aerospace Engineering for registration. Both certificates will enable these graduates to apply for registration as Professional Engineers.
The Specialist Certificates consist of courses taken from the Undergraduate Full Degree. Each course is credit-bearing and stackable towards the relevant certificate(s) subject to the prevailing rules and regulations. There will be continuous assessments during course period and a final exam/quiz/assignment at the end of the course which contribute to a final grade.
Registration is now open on selected courses.
