Six NCPA Alumni Join NTU Alumni Regional Conference 2026 in Bangkok

Over 200 alumni from 13 countries gathered in Bangkok on 11 July for the fourth Nanyang Technological University Alumni Regional Conference. Held under the theme "Transforming Global Health: AI, Biomedicine, and the Power of Entrepreneurship," the event united NTU alumni, innovators, and industry leaders to explore cutting-edge solutions for healthcare challenges. 

The conference featured a keynote address by H.E. Ms Catherine Wong, Singapore's Ambassador to Thailand, who underscored the critical role of cross-border collaboration in advancing medical technology. The programme included faculty-led masterclasses on AI systems and their applications in Asian healthcare, alongside real-world case studies from alumni entrepreneurs leveraging biotech and artificial intelligence. 

Networking sessions facilitated connections among alumni, start-up founders, and regional partners, fostering potential collaborations. Six alumni from the Nanyang Centre for Public Administration were among the attendees, joining their peers in this vibrant exchange of ideas. 

The NCPA alone counts over 20,000 alumni across Singapore, China, and Southeast Asia. This community, distinguished by its international perspective and deep understanding of local contexts, has long been a steadfast pillar of support for the university and our NCPA. Beyond rekindling friendships, these alumni continuously transform their shared network into a platform for collective action, driving deeper cooperation in areas such as regional governance, public policy, and people-to-people exchanges. The conference once again demonstrated the enduring influence of the NTU alumni community and its unwavering commitment to shaping a better future across Asia and beyond.
