NCPA Graduation Dinner and Alumni Reunion Celebrates the Class of 2026

The Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, celebrated the achievements of its Class of 2026 at the Graduation Dinner and Alumni Reunion held on 26 July 2026 at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre. Bringing together graduates from NCPA's six master's degree programmes, the Executive Master of Science in Managerial Economics (EMME), the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA), the Master of Public Administration (MPA), the Master of Social Sciences in China and Global Governance (MCGG), and the Master of Science in Managerial Economics (offered in both English (MME-E) and Chinese (MME-C)) alongside faculty, staff and alumni, the evening was a heartfelt celebration of academic excellence, personal growth and the strong bonds within the NCPA community.

Associate Professor Wang Jue, Director, NCPA, congratulated the graduates on their achievements, honoured their perseverance, and expressed appreciation to the faculty and staff for their unwavering guidance and support, which played a vital role in shaping the graduates’ learning experience. She also encouraged graduates to uphold the values of integrity and innovation as they step into the next phase of their careers, and to remain closely connected with NCPA’s global alumni community.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Director's List Awards, recognising graduates who demonstrated outstanding academic performance across the MPA, MCGG and MME programmes. The awards reflected the highest standards of excellence and the strong academic culture fostered at NCPA.

 

Mr Koh Boon Pin, Secretary-General of the NCPA Alumni Association, welcomed the Class of 2026 into NCPA's global alumni network as he shared recent regional alumni happenings and growing collaborations. He encouraged graduates to stay engaged, build on their NCPA connections, and carry forward the spirit of shared growth.

The programme representatives, Mr Bustos Jon Martin Vallido (MPA), Ms Foong Yi Ling (MCGG) and Ms Champraphan Thunsini (MME) shared heartfelt reflections on their transformative journeys at NTU, expressing gratitude to the faculty, staff and classmates whose support shaped their academic journey, and highlighted the values of grit, lifelong learning and global collaboration that will guide them ahead.

The graduation dinner was made even more meaningful with the presence of our alumni from different graduating cohorts, whose return embodied the enduring bonds that define the NCPA community. As graduates, alumni and faculty shared laughter, conversations and cherished memories, the gathering reflected the lasting relationships forged well beyond the classroom.

The evening closed with pride and optimism, as the graduates embraced new challenges with knowledge, resilience and purpose, joining a community of leaders committed to advancing good governance, driving innovation and creating meaningful impact worldwide.
