NCPA Graduation and Alumni Dinner Celebrates the Class of 2025

The Nanyang Centre for Public Administration (NCPA) celebrated a significant event on July 25, 2025, to mark the academic accomplishments of the Class of 2025. The Graduation and Alumni Dinner took place at The Fullerton Hotel Ballroom, attended by NCPA's faculty, staff, alumni, graduates and guests.

The evening celebrated the achievements of graduates from NCPA's six degree programs, including the Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Social Sciences in China and Global Governance (MCGG), Master of Managerial Economics (MME) in both Chinese and English, as well as the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) and the Executive Master of Managerial Economics (EMME).

The celebration began with a warm pre-dinner reception, followed by the arrival of NCPA’s leadership team, Associate Professor Wang Jue, Director, NCPA; Professor Liu Hong, Associate Vice President (International Engagement) of NTU and Director (Research and Executive Education), NCPA; Dr Wang Hang, Deputy Director, NCPA and senior staff members.

In her opening address, Professor Wang congratulated the graduates on their perseverance and growth and further encouraged them to continue making meaningful contributions to their organisations and communities.Professor Wang also commended the dedicated faculty, committed lecturers, and NCPA staff for their unwavering guidance, mentorship, and tireless support, which played a pivotal role in enabling students to achieve academic excellence across all six master’s programmes.

It was a joyous reunion as NCPA welcomed back many familiar faces, alumni who were thrilled to get together to rekindle ties. In an evening filled with delightful laughter, nostalgia and great conversations, the occasion marked bonds that tie the NCPA community together. From heartfelt toasts to shared stories and fun exchanges, old friendships were reignited, and new connections blossomed.A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the MPA Director’s List and MCGG, MME Top Students Awards, drawing enthusiastic applause as top-performing graduates from each programme were recognised. To mark their official entry into the NCPA alumni community, Mr Koh Boon Pin, Secretary-General of the NCPA Alumni Association, welcomed the Class of 2025 into the global network of 20,000 alumni and encouraged them to maintain the spirit of collaboration and continuous growth.MPA’s graduates Edwin Chong and Low Jia Pei Adeline, along with Nong Junyi from the MCGG’s programme, delivered moving valedictory speeches, sharing personal reflections on camaraderie, academic growth, and gratitude for those who have shaped their growth at NTU. They expressed sincere thanks to NCPA faculty for their guidance, to staff for their steadfast support, and to classmates for the encouragement and support that made their learning journey so rewarding and memorable

The night closed on a note of pride and optimism, with graduates ready to embrace new challenges and contribute with their newly acquired expertise. The event marked not only the completion of an important academic chapter but also reaffirmed NCPA’s dedication to nurturing globally minded leaders in public administration.
