The study led by scientists from Stanford University has published a list that comprises of top 2% scientists in various scientific fields. The list was created by Professor John P. A. Ioannidis from Stanford University and his research team. It contains
a publicly available database of 100,000 top scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and a composite indicator.
