Dean's Awards for Administration

To honour, celebrate and reward Management & Support Officers (MSO) and Research Staff for their outstanding and significant contributions towards excellence at LKCMedicine, we have the following three categories of Administration awards:

- Values in Action Award (Individual category)
- Enabler Award (individual category)
- Innovation Award (individual/team category)​

Eligibility: All MSOs and Research Staff are eligible and must be employed during the presentation of the Award. Nominations are required and an evaluation panel comprising five members will evaluate all nominations based on impact and influence as follows:

Impact (60%) – For contributions or accomplishments, achieved either as an individual or as a team, which created significant positive impact to the image, competitive edge, growth of the School or achieved excellence beyond the immediate organisational level.

Influence (40%) – For contributions or accomplishments, achieved either as an individual or as a team, which have created a positive influence to the LKCMedicine community and beyond, inspiring fellow colleagues, students as well as the community at large.

Nomination closes on 30 September 2023.

     

    ​1. Values in Action Award (Individual category)

    The individual has demonstrated excellence in living and modelling the values of LKCMedicine: Humility, Integrity, Compassion, Professionalism and Continuous Learning. He/She has consistently exhibited two or more LKCMedicine values in his/her work and his/her actions, resulting in the exceptional experience of colleagues, stakeholders or partners.​


    Eligibility criteria

    - Consistently demonstrates two or more of the LKCMedicine values in the course of work
    - All LKCMedicine Management and Support Officers (MSO) and Research Staff who are in service as at the date of the Award Presentation Ceremony.
    ​​- Nominator should complete the nomination form and all nominations should stress the overall achievements of the nominee(s) and their significance. The nomination shall include information on:​
    > Impact

    Description of achievements or accomplishments over and above usual job responsibilities/activities, and why they are significant.
    How the actions, attitude and personality of the nominee/s demonstrate LKCMedicine values.
    > Influence

    How the actions, attitude and personality of the nominee/s have inspired others

    2. Enabler Award (Individual category)

    The individual has demonstrated his/her value as a partner, collaborator or facilitator towards the successful conclusion of a project, issue or challenge. He/She goes above and beyond in his/her work to enable colleagues, stakeholders or partners to optimise available resources and achieve excellence. 

    Eligibility criteria
    - Displayed meaning of partnership or cooperation. Explain the what, how, when and with whom.
    - Nominator should complete the nomination form and all nominations should stress the overall achievements of the nominee(s) and their significance.  The nomination shall include information on:
    > Impact

    • ​Description of achievements or accomplishments over and above usual job responsibilities/activities, and why they are significant.
    • How the actions, attitude and personality of the nominee/s demonstrate the value of partnerships and collaborations with LKCMedicine stakeholders:
      a) intra and inter-department/division partnership and collaboration and or
      b) external partnerships and collaborations (e.g. NTU, NHG cluster, various ministries – MOE, MOH etc).

    > Influence

    • ​How the actions, attitude and personality of the nominee/s have inspired others.

    3. Innovation Award (Individual/Team category)

    The individual/team has demonstrated the effective and efficient use of his/her/their new idea/s or technology with tangible impact to the School. For example, the contribution could significantly improve the way we work, enhancing user experiences for a large group, solve complex and inter-related issues etc.

    Eligibility criteria
    - Demonstrates the tangible impact of the innovation.
    - Individuals and teams can be nominated for the award.
    - For a nominated team, each team member should have contributed in a significant role.
    - Nominator should complete the nomination form and all nominations should stress the overall achievements of the nominee(s) and their significance. The nomination shall include information on:
    > Impact

    • ​Description of achievements or accomplishments and why they are significant
    • Intellectual achievement, uniqueness and originality of the innovation
    • How the ideas and actions contribute to efficiency and excellence at the School that may have an added impact on Singapore and benefit to the public

    > ​Influence

    • How the innovation gains rapid adoption and traction amongst the stakeholders.
