MAE team wins at Hyundai-NTU 3D Printing Challenge

NTU MAE together with Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) had successfully organized the Hyundai-NTU 3D Printing Challenge on the 25th of November 2022. With prize up to 10,000 dollars, this is no ordinary event aimed to spark innovation in the field of Electric Vehicle (EV).

The competition required the participants to design a car accessory for Hyundai's IONIQ 5 EV which will be released in 2023. The design must be fully 3D-printed.

Amazingly, an NTU team designed a "Collapsible Holder for 70cm Long Umbrella" and emerged as one of the top candidates of the event and won $5000. Congratulations for the big win!
