The Resilience Upgrade webinar for NTU alumni

24 Jan 2026 10.00 AM - 11.00 AM Zoom Alumni
Organised by:
NTU Office of Alumni Engagement

The Resilience Upgrade is a dynamic, interactive session designed for NTU alumni navigating the evolving demands of today’s workplace. Drawing on examples from the Singapore context, the webinar moves beyond abstract theory to equip you with a practical mental toolkit to turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

Through relatable analogies, fun Zoom-based activities, and real-world scenarios, you will learn how to shift your mindset, strengthen your resilience, and boost your adaptability. Discover actionable strategies to help you thrive in your professional journey, while connecting with your fellow alumni.

This session is designed to:

  • Demystify Mindset: Clearly explain the tangible impact of mindset on professional performance and personal well-being in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Introduce Practical Tools: Equip participants with simple, memorable, and immediately applicable techniques to manage stress and cultivate a positive outlook.
  • Foster Proactive Resilience: Shift the approach from a reactive "bouncing back" to a proactive "charging up" resilience for sustained effectiveness.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the "Pause → Reframe → Proceed" tool to manage immediate workplace challenges with a more constructive mindset.
  • Identify their personal "micro-chargers" and create a simple plan to integrate them into their workday to maintain their "Resilience Battery".
  • Feel more empowered and equipped to handle ambiguity, feedback, and pressure with greater agility and less stress.
