SCSE UG Admissions Information Session 2018

On Saturday, 19 May 2018, the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) held its annual new admissions information session at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. On Saturday, 19 May 2018, the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) held its annual new admissions information session at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. The session held in 2 parts was graced by potential students and their parents who were given an understanding of the school programmes, an overview of the curriculum, student life, activities, exchange opportunities, research and career opportunities. This year the session was graced by Professor Ling San, NTU Provost and Vice President (Academic); Professor Tan Ooi Kiang, Associate Provost (Undergraduate Education); Professor Louis Phee, Dean, College of Engineering, together with other senior management of College of Engineering and SCSE along with faculty, staff and students.

The SCSE UG Admissions Info Session was graced by potential students and their parents who were given an understanding of the school programmes, an overview of the curriculum, student life, activities, exchange opportunities and career opportunities. Professor Ling San, briefly shared the opportunities that lay ahead for the students while, Assoc Professor Goh Wooi Boon, Assoc Chair Faculty of SCSE spoke of the 4 main aspects of personal and professional growth that can be explored over the 4 years of study. There was also sharing by CEC Club President, Mr Randy Lim on his student life experiences. After a scrumptious lunch, Assoc Professor Nicholas Vun, Assoc Chair of Undergraduate Studies shared an overview of the four year academic programme The attendees also heard from 2 of SCSE’s successful alumni represented by Mr Budhaditya Bhattacharya (Entrepreneur) and Mr Stanwin Siow (Co-Founder of Confident way and Director, Dathena). They stressed on the importance of making the right choice for career opportunities and provided their concrete backing of the multitude of opportunities that lay ahead with the training provided at SCSE.

19 May 2018, the School of Computer Science and Engineering held its annual new admissions information session at the Grand Hyatt Singapore. There was a selected range of FYP displays for the new students to get a preview on coursework and projects.

The session concluded with a question and answer session, followed by everyone enjoying a scrumptious Hi-tea prepared by Grand Hyatt while networking with the faculty, staff and students of SCSE.
