SCSE Graduation Evening 2019

Graduates from the School of Computer Science and Engineering’s (SCSE) Class of 2019 attended their graduation dinner at The Chevrons on 19 July 2019. They were warmly welcomed into the alumni family by SCSE Assistant Chair (Alumni and Outreach), Prof Cong Gao. The event was also graced by the SCSE Alumni Association Committee, Event Officer, Chen Zhe (BCE, Class of 2017).

During the pre-event cocktail segment, the guests were seen mingling and catching up with their fellow graduates. The exuberant graduates enjoyed a delectable Asian cuisine while being entertained with interactive stage games and activities.

Most of our graduates dressed up for the event theme – Havana Nights, with 3 of them winning the Best-Dressed Award.

The event came to a close with the Professor making a toast to the new graduates and wishing them a bright future to deafening gleeful cheer from them.

Many of the graduates stayed on, cherishing the moment in the good company of their classmates before they embarked on their next phase in life. It will truly be a memorable evening for them to remember for years to come.
