SinHui Chong is an Assistant Professor in Management at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. She received her PhD from the Organizational Psychology program in Michigan State University, which is the top-ranked organizational psychology program in the United States for more than 14 years. Prior to that, SinHui received her double Bachelor’s degrees in BBM (OBHR) and BSocSc (Psychology) under full scholarship from Singapore Management University, where her research also won the best senior thesis in Psychology. SinHui’s current research examines how individuals manage their professional and personal identities simultaneously. She uncovers personal and organizational capacities that empower individuals to thrive across multiple life domains. Her works have appeared in top journals such as Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Personnel Psychology, and she received the divisional research excellence award from Nanyang Business School in 2021. SinHui teaches undergraduate courses on Cultural Intelligence and works on applied research with public and private organizations.
