The Senior Research Project Leader and Project Leader positions are available from early 2021 for 2 years with possible extension. The position will remain open until it is fulfilled. Competitive salary will be depending on experience. The PhD scholarships are available for the August 2021 intake of NTU.
For any inquiries contact, Prof Nikolay Zheludev (NZheludev_at_ntu.edu.sg) or Dr Giorgio Adamo (G.Adamo_at_ntu.edu.sg) and copy your correspondence to cdpt-recruit_at_ntu.edu.sg. Please provide complete CV summarizing your research activities, a motivation letter, an exhaustive list of publication, and the contact details of at least two referees.
Senior Research Project Leader, Research Project Leader and PhD students
CDPT has established 5 years long research programmes funded by the National Research Foundation and the Ministry of Education of Singapore. This new research programme aims at exploring the growth of high quality thin films based on superconducting and topological materials, characterization of structural and optoelectronic properties and fabrication of quantum devices such as superconducting nanowire single photon detectors (SNSPD) and topological transport devices.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with keen interest in the growth of novel materials for optics, to be the leading research fellows in charge of a state of the art growth facility at CDPT. The candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Optical Engineering, Material Science, or closely-related disciplines.
The project will be carried on in the group of Associate Professor Cesare Soci at the main campus of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
The Senior Research Project Leader and Project Leader positions are available from early 2021 for 1 years with possible extension. The position will remain open until it is fulfilled. Competitive salary will be depending on experience. The PhD scholarships are available for the August 2021 intake of NTU.
For any inquiries contact, Associate Professor Cesare Soci (CSOCI_at_ntu.edu.sg) or Dr Giorgio Adamo (G.Adamo_at_ntu.edu.sg) and copy your correspondence to cdpt-recruit_at_ntu.edu.sg. Research Project Leader
CDPT is establishing a new research programme funded by the Ministry of Education Singapore. The programme aims to a direct observation of a toroidal transitions in atoms that will be a major breakthrough in the physics of light-matter interactions. Such observation will impact our understanding of atomic spectra, anapole electrodynamics, energy and information exchange at the molecular level and the origin of the cosmic dark matter. It will allow the development of new schemes for precision measurements, spectroscopies and imaging techniques such as NMR.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with keen interest in fundamental physics and precision measurements to be the leading research fellow on the programme. The candidates should have a PhD in experimental atomic physics, laser spectroscopy or related subject.
The project will be carried on in the groups of Associate Professor David Wilkowski and Professor Nikolay Zheludev at the main campus of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore
The Research Project Leader position is available from early 2021 for 2 years with possible extension. The position will remain open until it is fulfilled. Competitive salary will be depending on experience.
For any inquiries contact, Associate Professor David Wilkowski (david.wilkowski_at_ntu.edu.sg) or Dr Giorgio Adamo (G.Adamo_at_ntu.edu.sg) and copy your correspondence to cdpt-recruit_at_ntu.edu.sg. Please provide complete CV summarizing your research activities, a motivation letter, an exhaustive list of publication, and the contact details of at least two referees.
Research Project Leader and PhD students
CDPT is establishing a new 5 years long research programme funded by the National Research Foundation Singapore. The programme aims to develop ideas and devices for the next generation high speed communication systems (6G and beyond) by using advanced concepts of topological chip designs in the THz domain. The research will target solutions with higher carrier frequency, huge bandwidth, high data rate and low latency to enable high-speed data transmission, massive IoT deployment and AI/Cloud computing.
We are seeking highly motivated candidates with keen interest in RF circuit design and wireless communications, to be leading research fellows on the programme. The candidates should have a PhD in electrical/ electronic engineering or stream associated with RF Microwave and Millimeter wave devices.
