Delegation from OKX and ICTU Visits NTU's CCTF to Deepen Collaboration

On the afternoon of May 8, 2025, a 9-member delegation comprising representatives from OKX and Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology (ICTU) in Vietnam visited the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) campus in Singapore for a fruitful exchange and networking session. The visit was hosted and organized by the Centre in Computational Technologies for Finance (CCTF) at NTU.

Warmly welcomed and guided by staff from the CCTF, the delegation began their visit with a tour of campus facilities. During the tour, the guests gained first-hand insight into NTU’s teaching and research environment. The delegation then had a comprehensive dialogue with Professor Li Yi, the Associate Director of the NTU-CCTF, as well as a leading figure in blockchain education at NTU. Professor Li Yi delivered an engaging and inspiring introduction to the CCTF. He highlighted NTU’s global leadership in blockchain education, as well as the center’s role as a bridge between academic research and industry collaboration.

The delegation members attentively listened to Professor Li Yi’s insights and offered brief overviews of the blockchain education and research efforts at their respective institutions. Representatives from OKX and ICTU expressed great admiration for NTU’s achievements in advancing blockchain education and practical application, and they commended CCTF’s efforts in fostering student skill development and academic-industry partnerships.

Both sides emphasized the importance of establishing a long-term collaborative mechanism and initiated discussions on building joint platforms, co-organizing training programs, and promoting the development of the blockchain education ecosystem. This meeting laid a solid foundation for future collaboration and showcased the promising potential of transnational cooperation between the industry and academia in Vietnam and Singapore.
