NTU MSBT Nov2025 Intake Capstone Briefing Lights Up the Stage✨

On January 19, NTU MSBT students, professors, and blockchain industry guests from around the world gathered at Wee Cho Yaw Plaza to participate in this trimester’s Capstone industry–academia briefing. 🌟

More than a project introduction session, the event served as a dynamic platform combining cutting-edge technology, industry insights, and career exploration. Experts and scholars from the United States, Spain, Singapore, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and other regions shared real-world industry experience, opening doors for students to better understand the blockchain ecosystem. 🌍🚀

In his opening remarks, Alvin Song, Supervisor of the MSBT Capstone Project, emphasized the importance of university–industry collaboration in talent development and encouraged students to actively engage, ask questions, and identify Capstone opportunities that align with their interests and career goals.

🌟 Capstone Project Highlights

During the briefing, professors and industry partners presented a diverse range of forward-looking Capstone project directions. Prof. Li Mingzhe (Great Bay University) and Prof. Guo Jian (NTU) shared their latest research focuses and explained how academic exploration could be translated into practice-oriented project outcomes. At the same time, industry partners including PARSIQ Technologies, SNZ, Zero Gravity, Ethereum Foundation Academic Secreteriat, PaperMoon Dev, NGC Ventures, Taiko, MartX Limited, and StarChild showcased project ideas rooted in real industry needs. The session highlighted the strong integration of research-driven thinking and industry practice, offering students concrete and hands-on opportunities to work on innovative blockchain applications.

🤝 Relaxed Post-Event Networking

After the formal sessions concluded, many industry representatives stayed on to dine and engage with students in informal discussions. Conversations focused on project requirements, personal background fit, and real-world industry expectations, creating a relaxed yet insightful atmosphere.

We look forward to seeing MSBT students leverage these high-quality university–industry collaborations to discover their ideal career paths, build a strong foundation for entering the blockchain and emerging technology sectors, and deliver exciting Capstone project outcomes in the months ahead. 🚀✨
