ABCC-2025-007: “Provenance Burgundy Wine Token – Asset Tokenization”

Abstract: In early 2022, Intraco Ltd partnered with boutique distributor Domaine Wines to design the Provenance Burgundy Wine Token (TGB1), a blockchain-based security token backed by a curated Burgundy portfolio. The issue was intended for ADDX, a MAS-licensed private-markets platform for accredited investors. The case guides students to analyse token economics and investor value; examine asset tokenisation as alternative financing and its working-capital implications; compare tokenisation with conventional wine-investment channels; and identify design choices that enable liquidity and scale.
