US and China are aggressively lobbying Southeast Asian countries to join their AI camp

As the US-China AI rivalry intensifies, Southeast Asian countries are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain their traditional "hedging" and neutral postures. Assoc Prof Dylan Loh from NTU Singapore said that most Southeast Asian countries tend to adopt multi-parties alliances and “hedging” strategies, but it seems increasingly difficult to achieve this now.
