Trump’s next China-related target may be the Peruvian port of Chancay

Panama has announced its withdrawal from China’s Belt and Road Initiative following pressure from the Trump administration. Experts suggest that Trump’s next target in his efforts against China may be Peru’s Chancay Port. Asst Prof Dylan Loh from NTU described China’s response so far as ‘moderate and measured.’  He said China has been preparing for the changes in the situation after Trump came into power, and also understands special strategies and tactics.
