The People's Association pilots a women's contact network to empower women to engage in community work
The People’s Association Women’s Executive Committee has launched a pilot programme to encourage women to engage in social causes, from animal welfare to environmental issues, and create spaces for like-minded individuals to exchange ideas and contribute to the community. Ke Xin Ru (transliteration), a second-year PPGA student at NTU, who joined the Chong Pang Community Club Women’s Executive Committee last August, said the initiative will partner with Caregiving Welfare Association and Montfort Care to focus on supporting caregivers and understanding their needs.
