US President Donald Trump has warned of higher tariffs and possible licence fees for countries that “play games” with recent trade deals, after court rulings blocked parts of his global tariff strategy. With the Supreme Court limiting some levies, he has signalled alternative tools, including Section 301 investigations, to exert further trade pressure.
