Balancing academics and activism is no easy feat. Terese Teoh, President of Singapore Youth for Climate Action and the youngest candidate honoured with the 10 for Zero Award - presented to 10 youth advocates for their unwavering dedication to forging a future of zero waste and carbon emissions - opens up to The Pride about her journey through the complexities of passion, priorities, and the pursuit of a sustainable future, in this feature. Like many young Singaporeans, Terese had aspired to become a doctor from the age of nine. So, when she eventually chose to pursue environmental and Public Policy and Global Affairs at NTU, her parents were taken aback.
