SSSeniors Programme at Mandai River Wonders

On 6 March 2026, the School of Social Sciences Club organised SSSeniors in partnership with Fei Yue Community Services and the Choa Chu Kang Active Ageing Centre (CCK AAC) at Mandai River Wonders.

The event brought together 20 students and 25 seniors for a meaningful day of intergenerational engagement. The programme aimed to strengthen understanding between age groups, foster empathy and mutual respect, support active ageing through meaningful social interaction, and encourage students to gain deeper insights into ageing-related societal issues.

Through structured activities such as animal charades, word bingo, and animal spotting, participants engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanged perspectives, and shared experiences in a relaxed and collaborative setting. These interactions provided opportunities for social engagement and mental stimulation, while reinforcing the importance of active ageing and community participation.

SSSeniors highlights the value of partnerships between student organisations and community partners in fostering mutual learning, respect, and meaningful connections across generations.
