SSS Summer School 2026 Brings Global Perspectives on AI and Big Data Analytics to NTU
SSS successfully concluded the SSS Summer School 2026, held from 4 to 15 July 2026, bringing together participants for an immersive learning experience centred on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics for Economics and Finance.
Over the two-week programme, participants explored how emerging technologies are transforming the worlds of business, economics and finance through a series of specially designed lectures, interactive group work and discussions led by NTU faculty and industry practitioners. The programme offered valuable insights into the growing role of AI and big data analytics in addressing real-world challenges and shaping decision-making across industries.
Beyond the classroom, participants took part in a curated industry immersion programme in Singapore, one of Asia's leading financial centres. These experiences provided first-hand exposure to industry developments in FinTech and the application of AI-driven solutions in the financial sector, complementing the academic curriculum with practical perspectives.
The Summer School also provided a platform for participants from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas, collaborate on group activities and build meaningful international connections. Through shared learning experiences and cultural exchange, students developed new perspectives while expanding their global networks.
As the programme came to a close, participants departed with enhanced knowledge, practical insights and lasting friendships, reflecting the School's commitment to fostering interdisciplinary learning and preparing future leaders for an increasingly data-driven world.
The School of Social Sciences extends its appreciation to our faculty members, industry partners and all participants for contributing to the success of the SSS Summer School 2026. We look forward to welcoming a new cohort of learners in future editions of the programme.
